  • Position: Community Services Manager - Part Time
    Description: The Community Services Manager is responsible for the oversight of the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) functions. This position has primary responsibility for managing the agency’s AAA planning activities, Title-III grants and contracts, Nutrition Program, Ombudsman Program, and various community service programs, such as local money management and other community related projects. Operational responsibilities encompass: managing budgets, supervising staff, writing proposals, conducting program audits, preparing reports in response to all regulatory and contractual requirements. Additional responsibilities include: communicating with Title III Program Staff, the Executive Office of Elder Affairs, community organizations, and government officials. Hours are twenty per week. Eligible for paid holidays, personal time, sick time, vacation, optional life and disability insurance and retirement savings. Flex time offered.

    Applicants should have Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Gerontology, or related field with a concentration in planning or community organizing preferred. Experience -- 3-5 years in a community based, non-profit or governmental agency, with experience in program development for older adults and / or disabled persons.

  • Position: Microsoft Access Specialist – Part-Time Contracted Position
    Description: We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Access Specialist and Trainer to provide initial and ongoing trainings and support to staff on a contract basis. The initial project consists of creating queries and reports from a web-based social services application. Thereafter we are looking for a series of small-group training sessions for beginners so that they can proficiently use Access to extract data and create meaningful management reports. More advanced sessions may follow. We are flexible on hours and schedule within a Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM timeframe.   • Position: Supper Coordinator - No Weekends - Part Time
    Description: North Shore Elder Services is looking for a part time Supper Coordinator for our Salem location. No Weekends! Hours are generally 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Coordinator is responsible for heating and serving pre-cooked, supper meals utilizing safe-food handling practices, cleaning up at the end of service and making a weekly trip to the Danvers office to pick-up/drop-off supplies and paperwork. Meals are served at our public housing location in Salem.
